Raised on the banks of the Stilliguamish River, Sarah’s lifelong fluency in the Pacific Northwest outdoors naturally morphed from backyard exploration into a relentless hunt for fast moving water—after being introduced to whitewater sports her first year of college, Sarah began her pursuit of raft guiding.

A biology student at WWU, she trades the oars for a textbook in the off-season. Aside from rafting and perpetually peeking underneath rocks, Sarah can be found skiing, mountain biking, riding horses, or dominating at her collegiate waterski tournaments. Entering her second season with Triad, Sarah brings a deep rooted respect for the ecosystems of our local waterways and a heart for protecting the environments we are so lucky to explore.

Sarah recently broke her arm.
