Note: While we do accept payment online, the details of your kayak lesson are made custom for you, and so once you make your reservation please expect a call from our office to set up a time for you and the instructor to talk about your skill level and goals with your kayaking and how we can best cater the lesson for you. If you have specific dates for your kayak lesson we recommend contacting our staff before making payment at 360-510-1243. 

We offer our kayak instructional clinics to kayakers who have already had some exposure to kayaking, or if they are serious about learning from an expert on the river. We do not do "roll sessions" at pools, we only work on site, in small group settings. Most often we find our approach beneficial for people who have had enough exposure to kayaking to realize that they love it, and have a basic skill set to build upon, and thus can use our expert instructors to take them to the next level. 

We offer 1 day (8 hour) private kayaking instruction on various rivers in a customizable format for 1, 2, or 3 people for $495, $595, and $695 respectively. 

We also offer a 2 day private intensive (syllabus below) for pure beginners for $995 for the first person, and $200 for each additional person up to a maximum of 3. This is a fully customizable kayak intensive designed to progress any new students up to a point of maximum proficiency within the allotted time. We believe that learning correct habits from professional kayakers will pay dividends through the lifetime of kayaking of the client in terms of safety and satisfaction. 

Because these trips are customized it may be in your best interests to call us to develop a personalized curriculum for you. 

All kayaking instruction trips include use of kayaks, spray skirts, PFDs, helmets, paddles, and if required wetsuits or drysuits. You may show up to your kayaking trip fully equipped or we can provide everything for you; it's up to you. And if you decide you would like to purchase your own kayak and equipment, our staff will help you pick out your gear and we can provide you with a courtesy discount of 10% off of MSRP for any equipment which we have access to, including kayaks and paddles. 

Wetsuits, life jacket, kayaks, paddles, and all other necessary equipment is provided. Drysuits are available to rent by request and are subject to availability. Intermediate kayakers who have their own equipment are more than welcome to use whatever they are comfortable and familiar with. Some guests enjoy trying out a few different kinds of kayak designs while working with us.
