Named after famous astronaut “Gordo Cooper” this primitive budget level schoolie is rough around the edges, but not shy on swagger. A little bit about Gordo…. he’s an older schoolie that spend several years working the mountain shuttle route (Seattle to Snoqualmie Pass) and as a result his engine is pretty worn down and like a lot of old bus drivers, he smokes.

What makes Gordo so attractive is his character; his walls are lined with stickers from skiiers and snowboarders, and you can almost smell the ski wax as you drift away to sleep. His walls are thin, and thus, he is about as noisy as a sack of hammers falling on a tin roof (his roof is in fact metal). He dwells in a primitive area next to a gas station, and as a result, he is a humble, inexpensive, yet quaintly pragmatic and useful abode for those who simply need a place to layover during their trip through the North Cascades.
